	Discuss the outcome of this stroke for the following cases:  1. Where Red is alive on Blue.  2. Where Red is not alive on Blue i.e Blue is a used ball.

 
 
 

EXAMPLE 2           Red is NOT alive on Blue
 

	Red hits Blue, both balls then pass through the hoop and then Red contacts Blue again before coming to rest with Red and Blue separated.

 
 
 

EXAMPLE 3           Red is ALIVE on Blue
 

	Red hits Blue but does not complete its hoop

 
 
 

EXAMPLE 4           Red is EITHER alive OR not alive on Blue
 

	Blue is clear of the hoop on the non-playing side

 
 
 

EXAMPLE 5           Red takes croquet on Blue
 

	Red finishes the stroke in contact with Blue
