PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING :

This is a FRAMES based page. The left hand column is the index of pages to be selected, and it, and the heading, remain always on the screen. What you see with your browser is determined partly by the size of your screen, the speed of your computer, its ability to understand the Java Script and the congestion on the internet, or delays with your Internet Service Provider.

The Frame sizes have been deliberately chosen to suit as far as possible a screen size of 15 inches. It looks much better on a wider screen.

You may have to use the scrolling bars to find the solution buttons etc.

When you select an item, please be patient. Because of the above reasons and also because the animations can be large files, they may take time to display. It is best to wait until the document selected is fully loaded before pressing any buttons.

Usually you will see the animations occur slowly at first but when the page is fully loaded the speed should be satisfactory although this depends on the factors mentioned above.

I hope you agree that the ideas presented here should be useful in training potential referees and in brushing up on the Laws of Croquet.

The method of displaying the answers to the questions will probably change. In the first 3 exercises given under the Index heading Hoops and Roquet 1, a Java script has been written  to enable a button to be pressed to reveal the answers.

I would appreciate feedback on the quality of the reception of the animations and any other aspects (e.g features of the Laws) which you may consider deserve comments. My name and email address is:
